Replacement 5th Wheel Hitch Recommendation For A Valley 16K Sliding Hitch

Question:

Im trying to find a new handle cover for my 5th wheel slider hitch. I believe the brand is Valley and its probably a 15k unit. I bought it in 2011. The grip measures 4 long and the outer diameter is 1 1/4 inches. The handle itself appears to be just a hair over 1 in diameter. The current handle cover is yellow as it is on the handle to activate/unlock the slider portion, but it seems like the black covers dont deteriorate, so black is what I want. I was going to send a picture but I dont see an option for that. Do you carry something that will work?

We do not carry any replacement parts for Valley hitches, and they are unfortunately not in business anymore.

With that being said, the replacement part you're needing is not going to be available, however I do have an alternative solution.

Since your hitch is getting on the older side, and the parts are starting to wear, it may be a good idea to upgrade your hitch.

For a similar sliding hitch to your Valley hitch, I recommend taking a look at the:

-Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Roller # 16516.

This hitch has the same 16K capacity as your current hitch, will work with your existing Valley rails, and has 12" of travel from front to back for extra clearance.

I know this may not be ideal, however this is the best option we can offer.
