Question:

The Thule Basin tent states that it can be used as a cargo box. It seems pretty slender, how does that work?

The Thule Basin Rooftop Tent and Cargo Box # TH32VY uses a canopy zipper system to convert from a rooftop tent to a cargo box. The tent would be removed using the zipper system and stored out of the box along with the included foam mattress. This would free up the space inside of the box to carry cargo.

The Thule Basin Rooftop Tent and Cargo Box # TH32VY would then have inside storage dimensions of 84" long x 55" wide x 12-3/4" tall.
