The B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount # BWTS10048B is for standard tailgate systems. Since your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 has the MultiPro Tailgate you'll want to use the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount - MultiPro # BW49FR instead.

This has the same specs aside from having a 4-1/2" rise as opposed to the 5" rise of the part you were looking at. The head piece is different though which is why it can fit with the newer tailgate design.

I also recommend securing your investment with a hitch lock. You can secure the whole ball mount to your hitch using a single lock like part # 34061075-D but if you'd like to keep people from tampering with the rise/drop location as well you can use the full lock kit # 34061775-D instead.
