Question:
Converter issuePD4575K18L Green light is steady for a while then goes to flash mode. Cooling fans will not operate. I can re-set and same story over and over. Can I trouble-shoot electronics or do I have to replace it? And why cannot I just talk with someone?

The green light on the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 75 Amp # PD4575K18LS8 just indicates which charge mode it's in.
Solid: BOOST MODE (14.4V) - Constantly monitors battery for voltage drop and quickly recharges battery or boosts power when needed.
Fast Flash: NORMAL MODE (13.6V) - Continually monitors power usage, provides good charging capability and reduces water consumption.
Slow Flash: STORAGE MODE (13.2V) - Ensures battery remains charged and reduces water boil-off during storage or long periods of inactivity.
As for the fan, it is an intelligent fan and uses an electronic temperature sensing system that operates the fan only as much as required usually under high current drain applications. This means that the fan typically will not operate at night when the RV owner has turned off most 12- volt lights and appliances and is trying to sleep. I spoke to Progressive Dynamics as well and their tech stated that unless the battery was really drained the fan will typically not need to kick on.
