Recommendation for 4.80-12 Size Tire with 80 MPH Speed Rating

Question:

hello, i have a 5x8 trailer with 4.80 12 tires that i use to haul a 700 lb ATV. sometimes i need to go 3 to 4 hours away to ride but i was told my tires are not made for highway speeds like 80 mph. do you have guys have a recommendations on what tire i can upgrade to that will be safe to ride on the highway at at least 80 mph?

We have exactly what you're looking for with the Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT48012C. This has a load range of C (990 lbs at 90 psi) and a speed rate M which is 81 mph.

If you're wanting/needing to replace your wheels as well you can get this same tire with a wheel as part # TA98RR for a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.
