can this trailer haul 2 kayaks, one a 34inch wide and the other 38inch wide?

I recommend using the Malone MicroSport Trailer with V-Style Carriers # MPG461GS for carrying your kayaks. With the width of both your kayaks being 72" this trailer will have 78" long crossbars allowing you to have space between the kayaks. The Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer with V-Style Carriers # MAL43FR that you found only has a 58" long crossbar making your Kayaks 14" wider than the crossbars and hanging over the trailer where they are more likely to become damaged.

We do also have the Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer with J-Style Carriers # MAL93FR that will allow you to have the smaller profile of the EcoLight trailer and fit your kayaks safely with the J-Style carriers.
