Range Of Key Fob On Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller

I purchased and installed the auto brake on a tow dolly behind my 34 Foot RV. The wiring was a bit confusing, but we got it right the first time. WE calibrated and test drove with a load. all good. Problem and question: The FOB does not work from the drivers seat. I am sure its a distance thing, how can I correct this? Please advise

The Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller - Trailer Mount - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional # 3430001 key fob has a range up to 300 feet away per the manufacturer. So it should work just fine with your 34 foot RV. It sounds like your key fab could be faulty if so The Replacement Key Fob for Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller # AU54FR is the replacement FOB for your controller. The fob could also be having motorhome interference.

The Autowbrake #3430001 installs on the trailer side so you would generally just utilize the 7 way plug already on the trailer. We do recommend using a junction box to connect the Autowbrake wiring harness. We actually make an installation kit…

You can order additional key fobs with the Autobrake #3430001 that you referenced with part #FOB1. There isn't a pairing process as they are all programmed to use the same frequency.
