Question:
I’m trying to figure out if I can run a MaxxAir ventilation fan in my cargo trailer using a battery and solar panel stand alone system not connected to a vehicle. My trailer sits for long periods of time and I need to figure out how to connect a fan that’s thermostatically controlled to a battery that’s supported by a solar panel. Hope that makes sense.

All you need is a dedicated 12 volt power source to run the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K. So you can run this off the 12 volt battery powered by a solar panel, as it has just a power and ground wire.
The other thing you will need for install is Silicone Sealant # 0160297.
