Question:
Looking for a powered roof vent for a trailer we converted to a fish fry trailer to vent steam etc out or provide fresh air in. We have a 120 volt hook up to the trailer for lighting etc. So we dont normally have it hooked to a vehicle. Do you have a powered roof vent that is 120 volt or a transformer to convert it. Like the installating to look nice when done.

Hey Gary, welcome back! The Ventline Roof Vent item # V2128SP-01 is our only option for a 120v roof vent. It will work great with the AC power you have currently in your trailer.
The Ventline item # V2128SP-01 has a manual lift that can be opened by the hand crank built into the screen. It fits a 14-1/4'x14-1/4" cutout and a roof between 2-1/8"–3-1/4" thick.
Please note that we do not have any MaxxFans or other brand powered vent fans, like the item # MA00-07500K you were looking at, that can be used with a 120v power source. You would need to use a converter like item # 34266167 to convert the 120v power of your trailer to a 12v source.

Hi Gary, I purchased and installed the subject 110v fan and interior cover plate in mid 2025 into the living quarters portion of a horse trailer. Installation was pretty simple and all has worked fine since installed. Added bonus is my wife likes the opague fan cover I added that allows a bit more light inside.

We bought this roof vent last year and installed it in a coffee ‘bus’ food truck. Easy to install and we had to cut the bus roof which is steel, but not bad with the right tools. It looks nice. It is hard-wired as 120v so no transformer needed. The power switch is right on the fan. And it’s very functional. This is an exhaust fan so if you open a door or window you will get air to circulate through. It’s not super powerful but does the job during our 4-5 hour events. And it’s super quiet. I was going to post a few pictures, but don’t see this option available.
