Replacement Head for Reese Trunnion Bar Weight Distribution System

Question:

My Reese hitch includes a head marked V5 PN112750 with spring bars stamped 22210 and rated for 800#. Max gross trailer weight is 12000#. My trailer is under 7000#. The head broke on the top left portion of the socket that engages the spring bar. From what Im reading, it appears that RP58167 would be the correct replacement part. Appreciate your thoughts or any other questions that might help me to confirm that Im on the right track. The ball is 2 5/16inch with a 1inch shank and second a 1 1/4inch ball for the sway bar.

Thank you for the pictures. From them I can tell that you have a Reese trunnion style weight distribution system. Which makes the Replacement Head for Reese Weight Distribution System # RP58167 the correct replacement head for your system.
