Should I be concerned about spoilers using this product on my 2022 Mini Countryman? How do I prevent damage or paint chipping? Would it be better to go with a hitch type rack? Thanks!

The Yakima FullBack 2 Trunk Mount Bike Rack # Y02634 is arguably my favorite trunk mount rack and will fit your 2022 Mini Countryman. With that being said, the best way to any damage to your Countryman is to use a hitch bike rack. The FullBack won't damage your vehicle right off the bat but since you will be loading bikes on a rack that is resting against your vehicle for support the potential is there.

For your application you need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11522 and then you can either go with a hanging style rack like the Kuat Beta # B202-114 or a platform style rack like the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU74FR. Both of these racks hit right in the sweet spot of quality vs price which is why I recommend checking them out.
