Question:
Hello, I just purchased a 25foot center console boat with twin 250s and a dual axle 5000 lbs per axle I believe aluminum trailer. Unfortunately the trailer doesnt have brakes, but it does have an old surge brake hitch assembly. I would like to convert the trailer to an electric over hydraulic disc brake system. The trailer currently has 15inch wheels and has a 5 bolt brake flange. The trailer hubs have 6 lugs so I think the bolt pattern is 6 x 5.5. With this information, can you help me build a kit that fits my needs? I have looked, but couldnt find a EOH disc brake kit. By kit I mean every piece needed to redo the entire trailer. Any help will be appreciated and if you should need any other information please feel free to ask. Thanks,

If you do have 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern wheels you would want to start with two sets of the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R526D. These will work on your 5 bolt mounting flange, have enough capacity as they are for 5,200 and 6,000 lb axles. I would strongly recommend you determine your bolt pattern before you buy anything though. Check out the FAQ article I attached on determining bolt patterns.
For an actuator setup I would recommend the Titan BrakeRite I Plug and Play Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Kit # T4813102. For a brake line kit I would recommend you get the Deluxe Hydraulic Line Kit # 9579-2.
