Are D-Washers and Tang Washers Both Necessary on Trailer Spindle
Question:
I have a 1998 tent trailer with dexter ez lube axle. It had a tang washer installed between bearing and castle nut. I do not recall another washer next to the bearing, The kits i ordered included tang washers, D washers, and cotter pins. The is no provision for cotter pins on the spindles.. Using the tang washer behind the castle nut do i also need the D washer next to the bearing. Instructions have been confusing. Thanks
