Recommended Weight Distribution System For A 2021 Forest River Cherokee Alpha Wolf Travel Trailer
Updated 06/07/2022 | Published 06/05/2022 >
Question:
Looking into buying a WD set up. Do I need to get one as close to my trailer weight as possible? My trailer fully GVWR is 7500-7600. So I guess that’s puts my tongue weight around 700-800. I need some recommendations. I do need a decent because I plan on doing a 2.5-3.5” lift on my tow vehicle. I prefer the bars over the chains but I just want to make sure I get the right set up.

When it comes to installing a weight distribution system on your 2021 Forest River Cherokee Alpha Wolf Travel Trailer being as close to the trailer weight is the best. I recommend The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Round - 2-5/16 inch Hitch Ball - 10K GTW # FA94-00-1061.
This system has an integrated 2-point sway control that limits side-to-side movement. It has steel-on-steel friction helps to minimize sway caused by winds or sudden maneuvers. They have a no-drill, clamp on bracket which can be adjusted along the trailer frame. The system has a tongue weight capacity of 600 pounds to 1,000 pounds, and has a gross towing weight up to 10,000 pounds.
The shank has a maximum rise of 6 inches and has a maximum drop of 2 inches. Backing up is allowed using this system.
