i have a 2006 ram 2500 mega cab and have a 5th wheel hitch. would DZ91752X fit between both the bed and hitch as well as be bellow a standard bed cover?

I would be happy to help you. The overall height including the cap for the DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank item # DZ91752X is 22-1/2 inches. It is also 9" wide. You won't have any clearance issues with your 5th wheel hitch on your 2006 Ram 2500 Mega Cab but you will want to measure from the bottom of your tonneau to the floor of your truck bed to be sure you can close your cover. I have linked a couple of review videos. I have also attached a picture that shows how this fuel tank will sit in your truck bed.
