Installing TorkLift TLA7710R Battery Box to Trailer A-Frame

Question:

Is it safe to mount the TorkLift box to the A-frame of my trailer by following the instructions and putting self-tapping screws through the frame? Or should I use U-bolts around the frame to secure it? My trailer is approx. 7100lb. empty. Thanks.

The Torklift # TLA7710R battery box is intended to mount to the trailer frame via the included self-tapping screws that you'd shoot through the box and into the trailer A-frame. You could use U-bolts if you wish but it isn't necessary.
