Does the Andersen 5th Wheel Hitch Put More Strain on Your 5th Wheel Trailers Frame

Question:
Does the Anderson fifth wheel hitch put any extra strain on the fifth wheels frame? It’s a little different compared to a normal fifth wheel hitch. I know a lot of the manufacturers don’t recommend changing pin assy to a goose neck style hookup.

No, the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter # AM3200 will not put any extra strain on your 5th wheels frame. The Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter # AM3200 is different than your typical 5th wheel hitch but it will still attach to industry standard rails. One key thing to note about the Andersen systems is that you can not use a rotating pin box.
