It looks like it works over the double but want to ensure its a 2 and 2 5/16 double and not something else.

Yes, the Dual Sway Control Bracket for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mounts with 2" Receivers # 325-GH-300-1 will work with a 2", and 2-5/16" double ball mount.
This product is also compatible with all the GEN-Y Versa-Ball Mounts, like # 325-GH-224.
