Question:

Hi, I am in the market for a new set of chains I drive a Ford T350 with 235/65/16C tires. I would like some thing that is relatively easy to put on and can also handle driving faster than 35 mph. Suggestions?

We definitely have a variety of chains that are relatively easy to install on the 235/65/16C tires of your 2016 Ford Transit T350 but when it comes to the speed rating that's a pretty hard no-go as both tire chain and vehicle manufacturers agree it's dangerous to drive over 35 mph. In fact, some vehicle owner's manuals and/or States will have different rules about speeds and snow chains.

My #1 choice is the Konig Self-Tensioning XG12 Pro - Size 245 # TH01594245 because they they are easy to install and have built-in self-tensioning so you don't have to get it perfectly tight when you install them. Just get them sitting properly and as tight as you can and they will cinch up while you drive.

My #2 choice is the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2318 because they are easier to install than the standard ladder pattern but they do not have the self-tensioning like the Konig chains do.

Attached are review videos of both chain options. Please be sure to check your owner's manual for any specific instructions about using chains. When I looked it up online it looks like you need to use Class S rated chains which went into my decision making for these recommendations.
