Snow Chains For 2024 Subaru Outback With 225/60-18
Question:
Subaru Outback MY21 Tire Size 225 60 18 Product: Light Snow and Mud Chains The vehicle manual states to install snow chains on front wheel only, however I have minimal clearance between the tire wall and suspension. What chains would you recommend? Medium to Premium range. Thank you

Hello Nigel, you are definitely ahead of the game here looking for tire chains in August. We do have some great chains that will fit the 225/60-18 tires on your 2024 Subaru Outback. I recommend the Konig Tire Chains # TH2004205105. These chains are Class S compatible, meaning the links are low profile and will work on vehicles with limited clearance in the wheel well. I do recommend following the instruction in your owner's manual so front axle only.
The Konig chains are super durable, and extremely easy to install. They are drape-over chains, so putting them on is an easy one step process that can easily be done by one person. The diamond pattern chain gives constant traction which is ideal for snow, ice or mud. Just keep in mind that these chains are safety devices, and should only be used when needed and at low speeds.

Hi Jesse Thanks for the reply & recommendation on snow chains for my MY21 Subaru Outback. How do the following snow chains compare, besides the price difference? Konig CG-9, Konig XG-12 Pro Konig XG Cross.
