Can I Use Yakima Awning Mounting Brackets On My Thule HideAway Awning

Question:

Will any of the Yakima awning mounting brackets fit a Thule Hideaway Awning? If not is there a different adapter, customization or modification that would make it possible? I love the Thule Hideaway with its easy crank opening and closing feature. And because of this feature I have firmly decided to purchase the Hideaway. Therefore I would like to attach the Hideaway to a Yakima awning mount bracket so that the awning will work within my Yakima Ecosystem Corebars roof rack, keys, and similar method of attachment of all my other Yakima products. The Thule HideAway can attach to your Yakima roof rack, but it is not compatible with the Yakima awning bracket. Instead, you need the Roof Rack Adapters for Thule HideAway Awnings - TH490008 and TH490010, part # TH490001. This adapter will mount to your Yakima CoreBars. Since your CoreBars do not have a t-channel, all of your roof mounted accessories will mount in the same fashion.
