Will Thule Locking Cores Lock Thule Canyon Basket to Crossbars

Hi there. I have a Thule Canyon XT cargo basket that is mounted to my racks using the t slot and tightening the knob. Will the Thule lock cylinders be the appropriate addition to the setup in order to secure the basket and deter theft? How do they work with the t slot Mount to secure the basket to the bars? Cheers.

Lock cores like the Thule part # TH450400 will lock the Thule Canyon cargo basket part # TH859XT to the roof rack that it's installed on as the knob that holds the rack to the crossbar gets covered with a locking cover that would prevent access to it unless you had a key. This works with the T-slot hardware or the u-bolt hardware.
