The difference is indeed the measurements as the Ford puck system utilizes the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP30156 and the Ram requires the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # RP30154.
The Ford trucks have pucks that are spaced 30" apart horizontally and 13" apart vertically, while the Ram uses pucks that are 39" apart horizontally and 22-1/2" apart vertically. That different puck spacing is why your Ram will need the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter # RP30154.
