Question:
Just purchased a Grand Design Imagine XLX MKE17 - looking for a WD and Sway system to support it for long distance hauling this summer. Looking at the Reese Pro Round Bar systems - would they do the job and what model would you recommend? Was reading the reviews and it seems that if I go with a system that is too robust, that will result in a rough ride. Well be doing highway miles with some off-road / overlanding for boondocking. Towing with a mostly stock 2001 F250 Super Duty.

The Grand Design Imagine XLS 17MKE weighs in at 6,395 lbs fully loaded so for an appropriately sized weight distribution system, I recommend the Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution part # RE94FR which is rated for up to 8,000 lbs. This system will give you some room for error without being so much that it causes a stiff ride which is indeed an issue for an oversized system.
