Will the Air Lift 5000 work on a dually? If not, what do you recommend?

Yes, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57295 will fit on your 2017 Ram 3500 Dually(without factory air ride). I do prefer the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs w/ Internal Bumpers # AL88295 as it uses internal jounce bumpers that provide additional stability when turning and reduces bouncing more effectively.
I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ as it allows you to control the air pressure in your springs with your smart phone using the Air Lift app. This makes installation easier as you do not need to run air lines into your cab or worry about a separate remote with its own batteries that need to be replaced. It also has a smart manifold that will maintain air pressure to within 3psi of your settings while the vehicle is being operated. This ensures you can concentrate on the road and not the pressure in the springs.
