Replacement Lug Nuts for 2014 Montana Fifth Wheel

I have a 2014 Montana 5th wheel.. I am looking for a replacement luck nuts. The ones on it now are half inch by 20 by 2 and a quarter long, Is using a 7/8 inch socket. What is the best replacement for these in stainless steel or Chrome one piece, No caps.

The Kodiak lug nuts part # KALN1375S are your best option as they are one piece stainless steel so they won't corrode or swell up and be difficult to install/remove.

You will want to move the adjustment wheel up if looking through the slot on brake assembly, like part #AKEBRK-7R-SA, to tighten it. So essentially the adjustment wheel will roll away from the trailer. I have included a link to a video showing the…

The repalcement for your existing B12EA-21 brake would be #AKEBRK-7R-SA for the right side and #AKEBRK-7L-SA for the left or for both as a pair the #AKEBRK-7-SA.

According to Dexter Axle, the attachment bolts for a 12 x 2 brake assembly should be torqued to 25-50 foot/lbs. If you don't have a torque wrench handy, if you tighten the bolts until the lock washers flatten out, you'll be pretty darn close…

I checked with Dexter and you will need to tighten the attachment nuts to 30-35 ft-lb when installing the 12 inch Electric Brake Assembly, item #23-105, to your Dexter 6000 lbs axles.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
