Question:

I have the Atwood AB-72 pin box, I’m trying to determine if the Reese 20K Goosebox will bolt up as a direct replacement? I cannot find the Lippert cross reference for the Atwood AB-72… I have a 2019 GMC 3500 CCLB thanks!

I do have a solution that will allow you to tow a 5th wheel trailer with a gooseneck trailer hitch. however, neither of the Reese Goose Box models are listed as a fit for the Atwood AB72 pin box since Reese only fits them to Lippert pin boxes.

Instead your best option is the Convert a Ball part # CAB-C5G which attaches to the king pin of the pin box and gives a gooseneck coupler.

I just bought a Titanium Glendale 5th wheel camper model # 33E38TS and I’m wanting to change over from 5th wheel to gooseneck and I’m not sure what one to buy. The 5th wheel pin box says model AB-72. Class 4 18000LB weight rating and it’s a Atwood mobile product.

I was looking at that adapter CAB-C5G for the Atwood AB-72 fifthwheel box and that would work but my problem is my truck has a flatbed and the truck is to close to the camper. Is their an extended pin box that’s either gooseneck or fifth wheel that will work on my camper. It’s a Titanium Glendale 5th wheel camper model # 33E38TS and I’m wanting to change over from 5th wheel to gooseneck ideally.
