Can Weight Distribution Be Used on I-beam Trailer Frames

Question:
I am looking for a weight distribution hitch that would be compatible with an I beam frame on my dump trailer. Any suggestions? Thanks

You can indeed install a weight distribution hitch like the Equal-i-zer # EQ37100ET on a trailer with an I-beam frame, but you'll need to have pieces of steel plate welded to the trailer frame to box it in to provide a secure mounting location for the frame brackets to mount 32 inches rearward of the trailer ball.
