Question:
I have a 2004 F150 2WD, I want to add a 2.5 lift kit not a body lift, can I add suspension upgrades? Thanks

You will be able to still use some suspension upgrades on a lifted 2004 Ford F-150.
If the lift kit you have does not change the rear leaf springs on your F-150 you can still use one of the following kits.
TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade w Quick-Disconnect # TLA7311S
RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3612
SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit # SSA28
The Timbren Rear Suspension Kit # TFR1502D can also be used provided you include the correct amount of 1" Spacers # A25723-90AH00 and 1/2" Spacers # TA25722-90P00 to match your lift. You will want to verify the amount of lift on the rear axle with your lift kit. Often times a lift kit measurement is different for the front and rear to level the truck and they will only advertise the front lift as it is the larger lift size.
If you need help selecting a kit, please let me know how you will be using your F-150 and what size loads you may haul.
