Can I Use Older Yakima Lock Cores with SkyLine Towers

Question:
I have lock cores from a Yakima system from 35 years ago. It was the towers that had clips on to use on a bare roof. Can I use the lock cores from that on the skyline towers?

Thanks for reaching out! For the SkyLine Towers you'll need to use the current Yakima Same Key System Lock Cores which can be found as part # Y07204. Yakima changed their lock core system back in the 90's so all of the current lock cores have an A followed by 3 digits for their core number. These can be interchanged with any of the Yakima products. Anything before that is a specific lock core that was designed to work with that product only.
