I wonder if someone could tell me what the maximum towing capacity is for my 2017 GMC Acadia Denali with the factory towing package? Im assuming I would need a weight distribution set up to achieve the maximum capacity? Im having trouble finding accurate information? Thank you.

Your 2017 GMC Acadia Denali with the factory V92 towing package is rated to tow a trailer up to 4,000lbs. This information is directly out of the owners manual for your Acadia. I do recommend using a weight distribution hitch like the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0450 with a larger trailer. This system will help to ensure that your Acadia rides level and you do not experience light steering from to much weight on the rear axle and that the trailer tracks straight with the inclusion of sway control.

You will need a hitch ball like the 2" Hitch Ball # 40038 to match your trailer coupler and a 1-1/2" 12pt Socket # ALL643210 to install the hitch ball.

The owners manual also recommends that any trailer over 1,000lbs have trailer brakes and use a brake controller like the Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller # 3430001 to operate the brakes.
