Question:
I am replacing a keyed cam lock see attached photo on the fuel door of my enclosed snowmobile trailer with a non-keyed thumb cam. The door is 1 1/8inch thick with a 3/4inch opening size. The blade is only 1inch long. Which is the appropriate thumb cam for this application?

What I recommend using is the Deluxe Compartment Door Thumb Latch # 37200145 because it's 1-3/8" long, works with a 3/4" opening, and has locking blades that are 1-1/2" long but you can trim it shorter if that extra 1/2" will be in the way of something.
