Why Can't You Run the Generator in a Generator Slide Out Tray

Question:
Why cant you run the generator while it is in the tray as stated in the description. Seems pointless to have it and not be able to run it while in the tray.

The reason that you cannot use the generator while it is in the MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray # MR89RR is because the tray only locks in the stored position. If you use the generator in the tray, it could potentially slide back into the storage compartment and cause CO2 to get into your RV.
