What we have found is the integrated trailer brake controllers on trucks can be very temperamental when used with electric over hydraulic brakes. I do recommend using a HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Adapter Module # HBA-CAM with your factory brake controller on your 2021 GMC Sierra 3500HD. This will prevent an issue from the start or developing over time since vehicles can now receive over the air updates that could cause an issue.
If you are installing the electric over hydraulic brakes on your 2019 Mobile Suites 38RSSB the HydraStar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes # HS481-8067 or HydraStar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Drum Brakes # HS481-8065 will contain plug and play components including the adapter module.
