I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver, # e75ZR for your 2022 Toyota Highlander. along with the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # TK99FR. Use the Mounting Bracket, # C58001 to secure the connector to the end of the receiver tube.
The etrailer # e75ZR is a 2" x 2" Class III, fully welded trailer hitch receiver bolts onto your Toyota Highlander's frame with no welding required. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # TK99FR plugs directly into existing wiring providing a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle without the need to cut and strip wires.
