Confirmed Fit Trailer Hitch for a 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan

Question:
Any reason why the Draw-Tite Hitch #76192 fits the 2021 VW Tiguan, but not the 2022 year model? Is it not the same chassis?

The only trailer hitch options we have confirmed for a 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan at this time are from Curt, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13381 is what I recommend. It has a class III rating with 2" opening that will work great for towing or hitch mounted accessories. It also has a hidden design so only the receiver tube will be shown.
It doesn't look like there are any confirmed option for Draw-Tite at this time.
