What is the towing capacity? Is it good for a 12000 lbs trailer? Thanks

My technical contact at MasterLock let me know that the Latch Lock Set # 2848DAT has the following ratings - the 1/2 inch pin is rated for a Class I/II and the 5/8 inch pin is rated for Class III/IV.
12,000-lbs is the rating for Class III.
The coupler pin is not rated.
