Question:

I am replacing a 18x 5 1/2x 1inch 12 volt two tube fluorescent light fixture in my truck camper over the dining table / walk area and want to use an led light fixture with the as close to the same same dimensions as the one I have to make sure I cover up the existing mounting holes and overhead wiring connections. I saw the Opti-Bright #OPT38FR refrigerated trailer light with almost the same dimensions and was wandering if you would recommend this light for use in the living area or would it be to bright. I will be connection it back up to the existing wall switch in the camper. I have already replaced a three other interior lights in the camper using the Gustafson 18LED surface mount lights with the clear lenses and they worked great and am going to purchase four more of the Gustafson 9LED surface mount light fixtures also with using the clear lenses one for the bath and three over the bed. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

The Opti-Brite LED Dome Light for Refrigerated Trucks and Trailers # OPT38FR will work fine but it may be quite bright at 1,200 Lumens.

Instead, I recommend the Opti-Brite LED RV Dome Light # ILL10CCB, which feature the same dimensions, but only put out 880 Lumens, which will be easier on the eyes.
