Question:
I received my system and I have a question about set up instructions. On the parts list and picture there is a item 14 - hex bolt, 5/8” - 11 X 1-1/2” listed and shown but it does not show what it is for in the rest of the instructions. What is this bolt for?

Helpful Expert Reply:
It appears the bolt, item -14 is to thread into the lower hole on the Head # C17509 of your Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17501. See the included picture for the lower threaded hole in the head of the TruTrack hitch. That bolt would help hold the hitch head in position while the bolts are tightened to the shank.
