Question:
I have a 2021 TOYOTA Sienna with a kick to open rear door. They tell me that I cannot have a trailer hitch because of that feature. Will yours work around that feature?

Yes you can use a hitch receiver! I don't know who they are. But they are wrong.
The issue is that the sensor will be partially blocked. So you just have to move your foot a few inches to either side of the receiver tube and wiggle it around until you find the area the sensor can see. It is that simple just move your foot over a little bit.
So yes! You can use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C22UR and not have to worry about your sensor being completely blocked or disabled.
If you are wanting to tow a trailer I you will need a wire harness.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK69FR will link up your trailer lights with your vans.
If you want to use hitch accessories, like bike racks and cargo carriers, let me know and we can find you the best fit for your needs.
