Question:

I am interested in purchasing the B&W companion 5th wheel hitch kit that comes with the under mount ball receiver for my 2018 dodge ram 3500 that has a ER model cm flat bed on it. My concern is that will the receiver from the the 5th wheel hitch be long enough to reach gooseneck hitch mount under the truck frame since the top of the flat bed is higher. I have included a photo of how the cm bed is made with the recessed place in the center. Please let me know if you need anymore information, and thanks for helping me.

The B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3050 will work for your 2018 Ram 3500 with a CM flatbed, as long as the recessed section is at least 18" x 18", and has a maximum depth of no more than 4".

The B&W Companion # BWRVK3050 will only fit into B&W gooseneck hitches with a square ball hole, so if you do not current have that, you'll also need to install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1500.
