Will The RockyMounts BackStage Fit On My 2021 Ram ProMaster 2500 Without A Hitch Extender

Question:

I’m looking at the rockymounts backstage swing away for two bikes to attach to my 2021 promaster van. It already has a 2” hitch attaches and not spare tire on the back. Do you recommend getting an extension or is the rack alone sufficient? Thanks for your help.

You will not need an extension. I checked the four hitch receiver options we have for your 2021 Ram ProMaster 2500. The RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, part # RKY10002, measures 7" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when in the folded up position. None of the hitch receiver options measure more than 3" from the center of the hitch pin to the edge of your bumper, so you will have ample room for this hitch bike rack.
