Choosing A WDS For A 2021 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Hauling An Ice Castle Fish House Trailer

Question:

I have a 2021 1500 Crew Cab Ram with auto/air suspension. Looking to purchase this hitch assembly for my Ice Castle fish house that has a GVW of 7000#. I get trailer sway now and looking to eliminate that. I can get the trailer and truck level with the air suspension, but still get sway, looking to help or eliminate that.

As long as your tongue weight of your fully loaded trailer is less than 1,200-lbs, and your GVWR of your trailer fully loaded is less than 12,000-lbs you can use the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System # FA92-00-1200.

Installing a WDS like # FA92-00-1200 will reduce the trailer sway you're experiencing.
