Replacement For ST145R12 Trailer Tires With More Height
Published 01/20/2022 >
Question:
I have ST145R12 Load Star tires on my 700# camper. After 35,000 mi. I need new ones. Do you have anything with a more aggressive tread, or more height for the 12 wheels. Thanks

Expert Reply:
So long as you have a 12" x 4" trailer wheel (which you should for a ST145R12 trailer tire), there is an option for tires slightly taller than the 21.3" diameter ST145R12 tires. What you can use is a 5.30R12 trailer tire, which measure 21.6" in diameter so you get a bit more height:

These tires also have a 6/32" tread depth and 81 mph speed rating so they are really good for highway use.
