For your 2022 Acura MDX I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT42MR. This is a custom fit Class IV hitch with a 2" receiver. It features a concealed cross tube to help maintain a factory look and a black powder coat finish. The # DT42MR has a max gross trailer weight of 6,000 lbs and tongue weight of 900 lbs. It is also compatible with weight distribution.
If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the Curt # C59236. The wiring harness will provide you with a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights.
For a ball mount, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball. It also comes with a ball mount bag for storage.
