I have a dometic 6 gallon water heater model # GC6AA-10E. Would the #CAM02143 fit to replace it?

The proper replacement heating element for your Dometic GC6AA-10E is the Camco # CAM02103. Because the element is accessed from the rear of the unit, Dometic recommends having a qualified service center complete the installation. A specific socket is needed to complete the installation. We offer it as part # CAM09883.

I added a photo which shows the location of the heating element of the Atwood Water Heater GC6AA-10E for you. It is item number 17 in the diagram. Atwood does recommend having a professional do the job if you are replacing it due to its location.

On your model Atwood Water Heater GC6AA-10E the electric heating element is located in the water tank in the back side of the water heater. Atwood does recommend having a RV repair shop replace the heating element because of it's location.
