Compatible Base Plates For A 2021 Ford Bronco With Factory Recovery Loops

Updated 01/04/2022 | Published 01/03/2022

Question:

I have a new 2021 Bronco Badlands series that I want to tow behind my RV. It has factory baseplates that are stationary and very stout. They are 1-1/16 thick and have a 15/16 drilled hole. Do you have adapters to fit a tower?

The Curt Custom Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # C59JR are designed to connect to your 2021 Ford Bronco's factory recovery loop. For the tow bar I recommend the Curt Rambler Steel Tow Bar # C26FR. It features non-binding latches make it easy to unhook tow bar. It also comes with safety cables included so you won't have to purchase any separately.

You'll also need a tow bar wiring kit to transfer your motorhome's braking and turn signals to the tail lights of your Bronco. For this I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154. This diode Kit allows you to use your Ford Bronco's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV.

You'll also need a tow bar braking system, for this I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR. This system offers precise, responsive braking with a system that can be easily switched between towed cars. The LED display lets you easily adjust braking power, apply manual override, and monitor the system from your motorhome.
