Question:

I have an Atwood Mobile, welded on, A-frame 2inch coupler that needs repair. Its 8000 lbs gross weight, 1200 lbs tongue load, SAE class. Do you have a coupler repair kit that will work?

Thanks for the pictures! It looks like you have an older Atwood 88555 A-frame coupler, which originally used the AT88051 latch repair kit that is unfortunately not available anymore since Atwood discontinued the repair kits for these. Your best option is to try and find old stock on eBay perhaps, or replace the entire coupler with something like the etrailer A-Frame Coupler # CA-5210-B.

It has the same 8,000-lb capacity, fits a 2" hitch ball, and would need to be welded on after removing your existing coupler.

Sorry we don't have a simpler repair option for you! Wish I had better news for you.
