Question:
What capacity wdh do i need for a 2011 2wheel drive silverado v6 ext cab with 5200 lb towing capacity that will be pulling a 26’ 2015 evergreen ascend trailer? I believe the tongue weight is unloaded trailer303 lbs ,but that should jump higher with a loaded trailer right? The trailer is 4,000 dry but 5000 loaded Has dual axle Thanks

If the unloaded tongue weight of your 2015 Evergreen Ascend trailer is around 300 pounds, I don't think the Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution # RE44FR is going to be the best option for you. This will have a minimum tongue weight rating of 600 pounds, which sounds like you would need to load the front of your trailer very heavy to get to.
With that said, it sounds like the better option will be the Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution # RE34FR. This will have a tongue weight range of 200 pounds to 600 pounds and a max towing capacity of 6,000 pounds. You always want to try and get your loaded tongue weight as close to the middle of the weight distribution system's capacity as possible and this looks like it will do the job much better.
