Can I Comfortably Fit A Mixture Of Adult and Kids Bikes On A Yakima FullTilt Hitch Bike Rack

Will this comfortably fit 4 bikes a mix of adult and junior sizes? Additionally, can one of the holders be removed to effectively convert it to a 4 bike with more space?

The Yakima FullTilt 5 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting, part # Y02463, is designed to fit five bikes, but whether they can be fit comfortably on the rack depends on the bikes you will be carrying. This rack will be able to easily fit kids bikes with a wheel size of 24". This rack may not be able to fit 20" bikes safely and it will not safely transport anything kid's bike with 20" wheels or smaller. If you have a bike with a step thru frame you will need to use the Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar, part # Y02531, to create a faux top tube for your bike. You will hang that bike by this faux top tube. With regards to converting a FullTilt 5 Bike Rack to a 4 bike carrier, I would advise against it. The endcaps are not designed to be removed you might not be able to permanently reattach them.
